Why are
the statistics between my analytics and 1stMarketingTraffic different?
There are a number of factors that can contribute to the difference
in the statistics between your analytics and 1stMarketingTraffic
and they are as follows:
Make sure your URL is unable to load or slow connection:
make sure that your URL is accessible at all times, check with
your IT to ensure that there were no downtime in your system.
Please also ensure that your URL has a fast connection, if there
is a slow connection sometime the ad impressions won’t
be track or the user will close the window before it’s
fully loaded
Our stats our based on Eastern Standard Time: If you are
located in another time zone there might be some difference
in reporting
Redirects in landing page: Make sure you are tracking the
URL that you use to create your campaign, as variations of the
landing page(s) can report different numbers
Make sure that your server wasn’t down or overload:
Make sure that the server of your analytics were up and running
at all time, also please make sure that your server wasn’t
overload as sometimes if there are too much traffic being deliver
this can cause the server to overload and all impressions sent
will not be recorded.
Advertising with other network: If there were no unique tracking
link specify for the campaign make sure that all the other advertising
network were delivering your campaign at a normal rate
Difference in terminology: please ensure that the numbers
that you are comparing are the same, for 1stMarketingTraffic
1 impression equals to 1 ad display
Please note that the acceptable discrepancy rate in the industry
between third-party tracking can account for up to 15% - 20% discrepancies.
