If you do not have Cpanel hosting or do not have access to your
Cpanel hosting you will need to contact your hosting provider
or administrator to find out how you can view the raw visitor
logs. We recommend you use these logs for accurate counts on how
many visitors you receive to your website. For detailed information
on visitor behaviour and countries your visitors come from please
use Google Analytics.
Step-By-Step Guide To View Your Cpanel Website Traffic
Statistics
- Login to your cPanel Account. This is usually achieved by
http://yourdomain/cpanel where yourdomain is your website domain
name.
-
Once logged in you should be confronted with
a screen that contains a number of small icons. Like the figure
below.
-
|
Click on this icon that reads Web/FTP
Stats. |
- You will next be presented with a screen like the screenshot
below. You need to select Awstats for the better view of visitor
statistics if you have this option. If you do not have this
option then select whatever option is available to you. It may
be Webalizer or some other software for web page statistics.
If you are checking on the visitor statistics of a subdomain
you will need to click on the subdomain stats link.
That is pretty much it. Just remember that the country of origin
is not too accurate with these logs. It is better to use Google
Analytics to analyze the country of origin for visitors. This
is what we have found to be the case. You may find things differently.
You should have enough information to see the web site traffic
statistics of your targeted traffic campaign, or any campaign
for that matter.
Targeted traffic packages, website promotion, targeted signups,
targeted email campaigns, co-registration campaigns -- the
lowest price highest quality online, guaranteed.
